Temples in the Wilderness

The Europeans colonizing the American south built "temples in the wilderness" that echoed their Greek and Roman philosophies.

These recreations of the Greek style emphasize symmetry.

The age-old landscape mantra is that "the garden bows to the house". To that end, I've sketched a grid, based on the footprint of the house, that extends the symmetry of the building, out into the garden.

At even finer detail, windows and doors would also get projecting centerlines and width lines to define the grid. On the ground, almost any of these lines can be used to define some detail one wants to create.

Views from the centerlines of windows are particularly important. Design the garden so that focal points align with windows and doors where possible.

The well and fountain are possibly symmetrical to the center point of the house. (this must be verified) Considering that, the proposed garage and greenhouse would be, best in keeping with the philosophy of the house, if they too were symmetrical. I've shown rough approximations of that here.
