Panola Hall is not only a fine example of Greek revival architecture but was the home of the renowned Dr. Hunt who brought dairy farming to Georgia and Putnam county when the bole weevil devastated the cotton economy in the 1920's.
These photos relate to only some of the ideas discussed in the first meeting.
Excellent work has been done to restore the fountain. Brick stairs were added from the front porch (veranda).
A greenhouse concealing an "endless pool" is proposed for this space.
This area is slated for an extension of the entertainment area that exists at the rear of the house. The goals are to hide the fountain filters, create a seating area, manage the giant boxwood hedge on the left.
